T-Mad’s Music — The main site of T-Mad’s Music, originally created Sunday, August 11, 1997. Though it has gone through numerous permutations throughout the years and endured a brief hiatus on my part, the site is here to stay and is your source of information and your place for listening to music that you don’t get to regularly hear on commercial radio.

T-Mad’s Music: Blog Area — The blog site of T-Mad’s Music. Check out my blogs on what’s going on in the world of classic soul, R&B, funk, and so forth.

Chocolate Milk on Wikipedia — The Wikipedia entry for Chocolate Milk.

Sho’Nuff, A New Orleans Jazz Story — A 2000 movie by R.E. Henry and featuring the music of Chocolate Milk’s Ken “Afro” Williams. This site goes into full detail on the making of the movie, the story, the people involved, and so forth.

Mercy Corps — An international humanitarian organization which pools the skills and talents of its members in the cause of helping impoverished or otherwise disadvantaged people across the world. Kenneth “Afro” Williams is a member of this organization.

Support the Po Boy: Gulf Coast Civic Works Bill’s 100,000 Green Jobs — A news article by Karen Dalton-Beninatofrom The Huffington Post from May, 2009 about continuing efforts to help Hurricane Katrina victims. The article features New Orleans musicians Dr. John and Ken “Afro” Williams. It talks about Afro’s contributions to a New Orleans school by donating congas to it via the New Orleans Music Relief Fund (NOMRF) so that it could start a percussion program.

New Orleans Voodoo from the Inside — Order a copy of the 2001 documentary about the history of New Orleans Voodoo, produced and directed by David M. Jones with music from Milton Baptiste and Kenneth “Afro” Williams.

Amadee Castenell Jr. at NYNO Records — Official page for sax man Amadee Castenell on NYNO Records, where he recorded his two solo CDs: Amadee and Sax Dreams.

Dave Osoff Website — Official website for musician Dave Osoff, who recorded a CD in 2001 titled Mosaic and whom Amadee Castenell worked with on the project.

Mr. Osoff and Mr. Castenell both paid my original website a visit back then and had kind words to say about the site. Additionally, Dave Osoff was kind enough to send me a free promotional copy of his CD which I’m proud to say I still have in my music collection.

David Barard Website — Original official website from 2002 for New Orleans bassist David Barard, who worked with Chocolate Milk on two albums in 1976 and 1977.

If you journey to the links page on his site, you’ll see he actually had a link to the photo gallery page from the original incarnation of T-Mad’s Music presents Chocolate Milk. That link, of course, is outdated now but I am honored to have found out (though belatedly) that he found my site and linked to it. I thank Mr. Barard for checking my old site out back then. I hope to get him to check out the new site and maybe drop me a line.
